Move Up:
– Promoted or Doing different things in your job.
– If they’re doing the same job, in the same way, with the same impact- development hasn’t taken place.
Move Around:
– Development will either create clarity on current skills or awareness of new skills that will lead to different positions.
– Don’t let people be stuck: in or behind!
Move Out:
– If you’re wanting to know if development is taking place you need to ask: What’s different? Is this a good thing, or not.
– If it’s the same: there’s no development.
